Brazilian port of Imbituba
The Brazilian port of Imbituba has seen the commencement of direly-needed expansion work intended to up capacity from 150,000 to 400,000 TEUs per annum.
This will be located close to the mouth of the Panama Canal, adjacent to the former US Howard airbase.
The project is intended to be completed by the end of the year, giving the facility a total of 80,000 sq m of storage area.
