Ensuring security with modular system

The modular panel system can be built as a standalone unit, installed as a room within a warehouse or storage area, or used as a partition in a building, where there is a need for extra security.

It provides security solutions at Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175 Security Rating (SR) two, three, four and five, which means it has been designed to resist attack by a circular saw and a high-powered 750W reciprocating saw with specialist blades, as well as tools including drills, sledgehammers and disc grinders.

The Securiclad panel has also achieved European EN1063 BR4 certification, which means that it can withstand the firepower of a powerful large bore 0.44 Magnum weapon, and is approved for government use by the Centre for the Protection of National infrastructure (CPNI).

“Its high security level and innovative design means that it is ideal for the construction of secure environments to protect areas where you might find hazardous substances and high value items, like cargo ports and terminals,” Mr McColl added.

Securiclad says the system is quick and easy to install, with minimal disruption, can be designed to specification, and offers a complete modular solution including wall, ceiling and floor panels. It’s available in a wide range of core types to satisfy insulation and fire rating requirements and has both internal and external applications.

It’s already been used in airports, blood transfusion units and for the protection of servers.
