Gdynia to reap the benefit of hybrid RTGs

Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) Gdynia has ordered eight hybrid Konecranes Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes to expand capacity and reduce emissions through port electrification.

The terminal, owned by ICTSI, is one of the Baltic Sea’s key container hubs. This is its first investment in Konecranes port equipment, with the contract marking the manufacturer’s 3,000th RTG.
