Antaq looks at new projects
Brazils Antaq has received requests from private operators to build ports worth approximately $11bn.
These are either dedicated terminals or for mixed traffic. All of the projects have been approved by the Special Ports Secretariat (SEP) and have been transferred to Antaq, which will have the final say on the appropriate concession to be awarded.
All the requests were received before recent changes to the national Ports Law.
