Lower operating costs for Hanjin
Hanjin New Port Company terminal (HJNC) in Busan, Korea has claimed the designation as the worlds first horizontal terminal equipped with an automated management system.
The mega-project has taken 14 months since implementation commenced in November, 2007. CyberLogitec (CLT) provided the technology for the implementation of the new OPUS terminal management system at HJNC.
CLT said that as result, HJNC had been able to achieve an 80% reduction in yard operating costs and a 30% increase in terminal productivity after implementing the OPUS system.
