The Green Ports & Shipping Congress will identify and prioritise the areas that ports-based organisations and shipping companies need to collaborate on to reduce emissions. Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Maasvlakte II terminal expansion
Port of Rotterdam Authority and APM Terminals have signed a €1 billion deal for the expansion of Maasvlakte II container terminal
APM Terminals, part of A.P. Moller - Maersk, is expanding its Maasvlakte II terminal in Rotterdam, increasing capacity by around 2 million teu when complete by late 2026.
The project involves a site of approximately 47.5 hectares with 1,000 metres of deep-sea quay.
