As well as the Conference Dinner, at the iconic Pompstation, and the Welcome Reception, held at Dudok aan ''t IJ in the Port HQ Port, a ‘Speakers’ Corner’ will give participants the opportunity to carry on discussions and networking with presenters from each session.

Continuing the Conference theme of ‘Creating Partnerships for sustainable development’ the space dedicated to speakers in the refreshment areas will ensure additional questions are posed, discussions are continued and opportunities for knowledge sharing experiences created.

This year’s Conference Dinner will be held in the unique Pompstation, famous in the Netherlands for its locally sourced food, great live music and relaxed ambience, all of which will lend itself to enhanced networking at the dinner. The Welcome Reception is always a networking icebreaker, and also provides the perfect opportunity to discuss the presentations from GreenPort Cruise and to consider the highly anticipated interactive programme, taking place during the following two days.

With nearly 170 port authorities, terminal operators and shipping lines from over 30 countries coming together in Venice last October, networking and knowledge sharing are a highlight of all GreenPort events and, with the vast majority of attendees either influencing or making decisions relating to implementation of environmental measures, the Congress always delivers a high calibre audience.

The new interactive programme has now been released – view it online here - and participants will benefit from the opportunity to discuss topics such as the impact of the energy transition, how to make and manage the change and what does the future hold – where will tomorrow’s energy come from.
