Partnership with ZPMC
Vycon has begun to work with Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC). ZPMC is a major manufacturer of cranes and large steel structures in operation in 62 countries and regions spanning over 120 terminals around the world.
After several field tests conducted by Vycon on ZPMC cranes worldwide and the recent California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission reduction verification, it has been determined that Vycon’s REGEN System is a viable solution providing fuel savings and lower emissions to ZPMC’s growing RTG customer base. As agreed to by both parties, ZPMC will further validate the REGEN system on selected new RTG projects and will start to promote the product with their customers after achieving positive results. ZPMC has over 2000 RTG cranes in operation worldwide and is producing new cranes at a rate of approximately 300 per year.
