SAIC awarded Army COE enviro-contract

Science Applications International Corporation has been awarded a contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers (COE) Louisville District to provide engineering services and perform environmental studies in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.

This multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract will provide engineering services in support of environmental remediation activities, such as corrosion control, and contaminated soil and groundwater cleanup. The follow-on, five-year contract has a ceiling value of $18.5 million. Throughout the contract, SAIC will also perform environmental studies and assist the COE with meeting regulatory cleanup goals and requirements, using information compiled from environmental audits, baseline studies and compliance assessments.
