Chennai congestion forces lines’ re-think
With severe congestion dogging DP World and PSA’s Chennai terminals, many shipping lines have sought alternative facilities.
Those lines still calling at the choked-up terminals are levying congestion surcharges.
The situation has been made worse by a recent five-day strike by trailer operators.
