China powers past 100m teu mark
In 2007, Chinese ports breached the 100m teu mark at the end of November, with a special ceremony held at the port of Tianjin.
In the last five years, there has been annual growth of 35% in the box handling sector. In 2006, total container traffic amounted to 93m teu.
