Chittagong opens one-stop shop

The contract for consultancy was awarded to Singapore’s Jurong Consultants and made on behalf of Horizon Singapore Terminals Pte Limited (HSTL).

A one-stop shop service centre has been opened at Chittagong to improve the delivery of imported consignments. This, it is claimed, will allow importers to clear consignments within 1.5 hours where as previously this could take up to four days, and will be achieved by reducing bureaucracy from 48 to 12 steps.
