Cost overrun hits Tanjung Priok

The bill for the first stage of Tanjung Priok’s North Terminal development has spiralled by 26% from the original forecast, up from $1.02bn to $1.29bn. The hike in prices has been blamed on the change in location for the container terminal, an increase in infrastructure costs for construction of a bridge, and also on dredging work.
