Joint venture for APM and Pharung Shipyard Co
APM Terminals and Vinashins Pharung Shipyard Company have entered into a joint venture to develop a new container terminal in Vietnams Dinh Vu industrial zone.
The new facilities will serve Hanoi and the Red River Delta region of Northern Vietnam, joining the Cai Mep Terminal in the South of Vietnam.
Construction of the 630 meter berth, 60 acre terminal is scheduled to begin later this year, and will be operational late 2010.
