Klang introduces CSI surcharge

Port Klang is to introduce a surcharge for all boxes that require screening as part of the US Customs’ Container Security Initiative (CSI). To move the box from the yard to be screened and then returned to the yard will cost an extra $34.22. However, if that box requires a 100% examination and repacking, $68.45 will be levied.
