L&T in Rotterdam link up

IndiasLarsen and Toubro is reportedly in negotiations with the Port ofRotterdam Authority in respect of a greenfield port development in thesubcontinent. L& T has also reportedly been given the go-ahead tobuild a $758m port and shipyard in south India.

In November 2007, the ports of Qingdao and Tianjin both surpassed throughput levels for the entire previous year at 9m teu and 6.5m teu respectively.
