New terminals for Colombo
The port of Colombo in Sri Lanka is to build three new terminals, spending $334m on redeveloping the port, with finance sourced from the Asian Development Bank and Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
The planned South Container Terminal will be built as a BOT project as part of a public-private partnership, with a private sector operator to be identified by 2012.
