Northport ups conventional cargo operations
Port Klang operator Northport is to invest $29m in enhancing its operational area for conventional cargo at Southpoint.
Berths 3, 4 and 5 will be widened, while new fenders will also be put in place to accommodate larger vessels of up to 80,000 dwt.
Additional investment will be made in the dedicated conventional cargo terminal also operated by the company.
