Private investors needed in Chittagong
Chittagong Port Berth Operators and Ship Handling Operators Association has emphasised the need to get private investors involved in the introduction of modern maintenance systems at the port.
In addition, the group wants to see public-private partnerships introduced to allow the development of Chittagong as a regional hub.
They also want to see a private company brought in to undertake operations at the New Mooring Container Terminal.
