Qingdao to have largest global iron ore terminal
The Chinese port of Qingdao has revealed plans to build the worlds largest iron ore handling terminal. A total of six berths will be opened at Dongjiakou harbour, boosting capacity to 192m tonnes by 2030. This new facility will act as a national dry bulk distribution centre by the end of 2030.
