South Africa goes with the grain
Belgium-based Vigan Engineering is to be the major supplier for the new Fauji Abkar Portia Marine Terminals project, a joint programme between the Fauji Foundation and the Akbar Group.
The company will supply ship unloaders, conveying and bagging equipment as well as flat storage for fertilizers.
The terminal will have a capacity of up to 4m tonnes, 80% of which will be grain, and will have a total storage capacity of about 100,000 tonnes.
