Three Sino-Russian ports planned

China has announced a budget of $50m to build three multi-functional ports on the border with Russia. These will be sited at Tuntszyan, Jiamusi and Big Ussuri. Not only will these facilities be designated transport hubs, but they will also be involved in controlling water quality and responding to cross-border water pollution issues.
