TWO NEW TUGS FOR COCHIN

The Advanced Crane Simulator has been developed by Applied Research International, a New Delhibased organisation with expertise in knowledge systems, and is designed to enhance productivity and safety in cargo-handling operations through comprehensive training of operators and port personnel in a life-like environment.

Cochin Port Trust is to acquire two new 45-ton cycloidal propulsion tugs at a cost of €12.12m to replace life-expired equipment after 20 years of front-line service.
