Wuhan building major port complex

The Chinese city of Wuhan is investing $3.4bn in building a major port complex. There are two main projects being developed across two phases. One of them will be a bulk terminal capable of handling 800,000 tonnes and the second a four-berth container terminal with 1m teu capacity. Partial opening of the complex will take place in December, with all phases due for completion by the end of 2011.
