Alliances new tyre offering
Alliance Tire has extended its line of port tyres with the Port Star (309) 14.00-24 28 ply, designed primarily for container handling in ports.
The 20 Kalmar SHC240H shuttle carriers have a single-lifting capacity of 40 tonnes and can stack containers two-high. The equipment will be delivered by January 2010. The shuttle carrier fleet picks the containers off the ground from behind the ship-to-shore cranes and carries them to the automatic stacking cranes.
