DREDGING TO GO AHEAD AT CALABAR
High oil prices and international moves to support environmentally friendly product and services were key drivers in the creation of this cranes, according to the company.
Van Oord and Jandule have been awarded a ?56.8m contract to undertake dredging work in the 84 kilometre Calabar Port channel, in Nigeria. Work has commenced and is scheduled for completion within a year. The aim is to deepen the draught from 10 metres to 12 metres.
