Kalmar product range progression
Kalmar has launched an anti-sway spreader design to make cycle times for rubber-tyred gantry cranes faster and more efficient.
Max Stable features an eight-rope reeving system without auxiliary ropes and a new angular sheave scheme that in combination stabilise the load allowing faster, more accurate positioning of the spreader,Kalmar claims.
The manufacturer has also upgraded its popular E-One rubber-tyred gantry crane under the moniker of E-One+. It offers better access, ergonomically enhanced cab and fewer maintenance points among other things.
In other news, Kalmar has won an order from Maher Terminals in the Port of New York/New Jersey to fit its straddle carriers with Kalmar’s container position verification system Smartpath.
