Mafi tractors arrive in Piraeus

ESC’s gate technologies will be deployed for the inbound and outbound security gates at Global Terminal and Container Services, Inc. in Jersey City and at New York Container Terminal (NYCT), formerly Howland Hook Container Terminal, on Staten Island.

Twelve Mafi ro-ro tractors have just been delivered to Piraeus. Supplied in full Port of Piraeus colours, the units feature 4×4 drivelines including the latest Volvo engine type TAD 720 VE with 174kW and the type ZF 6 WG 200 gearbox. The cab design meets Roll Over Protection System requirements and for driver comfort a fully automatic A/C unit is included as well as the latest design of swivel seat console.
