Navis multi-site first
Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is to become the first operator to employ Navis SPARCS N4 terminal operating system across multiple sites.
With a central system set up in the company’s Durban head office, TPT will implement SPARCS N4 in seven marine terminals and 14 rail terminals by 2010, allowing customers a single point-of-entry irrespective of where they conduct business in South Africa.
