REACHSTACKERS HEAD EAST
Liebherrs LRS 645 reachstacker has found a market in Saigon New Port. Due to its curve-shaped telescopic boom, Liebherr claims the LRS 645 gives unrivalled reach allowing access to 2nd and 3rd row containers without any removal of front row boxes. As the boom shape also enables the loading/unloading of barges without any extra lifting attachment, Saigon New Port is keen to exploit both units for this field of application as well.
Once deployed, the system will automatically confirm the container load/discharge movements on each of the 14 ship-to-shore cranes in operation.
And to comply with the growing market for its equipment in India, Liebherr intends to strengthen its presence with its after-sales service office in Mumbai.
Further sales and service stations are successfully running in Singapore, Hong Kong as well as Shanghai.
