Tideworks acquires Sonu Software . . .
Terminal management and planning software provider, Tideworks, has acquired Sonu Software Solutions. Based in Rotterdam, Sonu is known for its coverage of the conventional cargo and warehousing sector which Tideworks says will complement its existing product line.
Mai Liao Power Corporation ordered two Siwertell coal unloaders to be used for ships of up to 180,000 dwt at a rated capacity of 2000 t/h each.
Sonu offers two product lines, one for managing bulk, break-bulk and ro-ro cargo terminals; warehousing with inventory control and tracing functions; container freight station (CFS) operations; and forwarding. The other offers container terminal and depot functions for moderately-sized operators and container trading and leasing customers.
