LB’s Electric Grant

The US West Coast Port of Long Beach has received a US$2.5 million California Energy Commission Grant to support Phase II of the Port Community Electric Vehicle Blueprint. This is a state-wide project designed to accelerate a sustainable and zero-emission port ecosystem. This new funding will be used to develop terminal infrastructure, including at SSA Marine’s Pier J facility, to support the use of electric vehicles and zero-emissions equipment.
