Speculationhas arisen that low-level merger talks have commenced betweenLyttelton Port of Christchurch and Port Otago, although both partiesremain tight-lipped to the media.
Speculation had recently arisen that HPH made such a bid after it was blocked in its efforts to achieve a stake in Lyttelton Port of Christchurch in 2006.
