The deal enables Terberg Tractors Belgium to sell and service the full line of Konecranes lift trucks from its cutting-edge 2,000 m² facility in Ghent.

This partnership enhances Konecranes’ distribution capabilities and supports its focus on sustainable, efficient port equipment solutions.

“Our longstanding partnership with Konecranes has been marked by trust and innovation,” said Lies Barra, managing director BeNeLux, Terberg Tractors Belgium.

“This agreement allows us to broaden our offerings and deliver exceptional service to our customers, now including a full range of lift trucks, backed by Konecranes’ renowned expertise.”

Global servicing

Terberg’s Ghent facility, opened in 2023, is fully equipped for servicing heavy-duty vehicles with advanced capabilities like roller brake testing and spray-painting. It positions the company as a one-stop-shop for specialised vehicle support in the region.

“Terberg Tractors Belgium is a valuable addition to our global distribution network. Their industry expertise and robust presence in the territory, coupled with their company objectives, perfectly align with our growth strategy,” said Andreas Falk, senior vice president, Lift Trucks, Konecranes.

The partnership with Terberg Tractors Belgium not only fortifies Konecranes’ position in the Belgian market, but also highlights its commitment to delivering innovative solutions that advance carbon reduction and eco-efficiency for its customers.

Terberg Tractors Belgium can now offer the full range of Konecranes forklifts, reach stackers and container handlers, including Ecolifting driveline options designed to save fuel and reduce emissions, alongside the electrified range.

Konecranes TRUCONNECT Remote Monitoring will also assist Terberg customers in optimising port equipment operations and maintenance.
