Konecranes names new strategy EVP

Christine George will take up the position on 8 April, reporting directly to Konecranes’ president and chief executive, Anders Svensson.

“Christine brings with her strong international experience of building and executing strategies and business transformations,” said Anders Svensson, president and chief executive of Konecranes.

“She has led international teams successfully and has a good track record of improving companies’ performance.”

George has held various leadership positions in global organisations within strategy, business development, transformation and operations.

She joins Konecranes from Seqens, where she held the role of senior transformation leader. Her previous positions include chief executive and chair at hydrogen tech start-up Ergosup, and vice president of strategy at Air Liquide.
