Port crisis management

STC International and the training centres of the clusters of the Ports of Valencia and Rotterdam are using their combined experience, knowledge and expertise to offer technical assistance that will help ports pro-actively manage future crisis situations.

The technical assistance will be managed by Rafael Company, director of safety and security of Fundación Valenciaport and the professor responsible for the UNCTAD Pandemic Resilient Ports Course. The training is divided into three phases with an approximate duration of 19 weeks, depending on the size and characteristics of the port.

The initiative will be launched initially in Asia, Latin America and Africa before being rolled out globally.
