Unions defeated in round one of Limón battle
APM Terminals has won an initial legal battle to build and manage a container terminal at Limón in Costa Rica.
However, although approved by the government, the project has been legally contested by port unions.
But the Administrative Litigation Court rejected requests by the unions to halt proceedings, claiming that the government was seeking to privatise all port services.
