Forth Ports champions apprentices

The events recognised 11 apprentices across the group who completed their apprenticeships over the past year and transitioned into permanent positions, adding to the company’s impressive 95% apprentice retention rate.

For the first time, Forth Ports awarded two Apprentice of the Year accolades. In Scotland, 19-year-old Callum Carr, an electrical engineering apprentice from Falkirk, received the award whilst in Tilbury, 22-year-old Rebekah Inniss, a business administration apprentice, was honoured after transitioning from a Kickstart initiative role to a permanent position.

The company has also launched its early careers campaign, seeking to fill 17 modern apprenticeship roles across UK ports, including new roles in procurement, operations, health & safety, marine and engineering.
