Tideworks Technology has introduced its new Tideworks Data Platform, designed to enhance port data management and boost digitisation efforts for terminal operators.

The platform integrates seamlessly with Tideworks’ Terminal Operating System (TOS) to provide real-time and historical data insights, supporting operational efficiency.
“We are proud to launch the Data Platform, empowering terminals to unlock deeper operational insights and drive efficiencies,” said Thomas Rucker, President of Tideworks.
“This platform provides the flexibility and resilience needed to optimise port data strategies, helping terminals achieve tangible improvements in performance.”
Real-time visibility
Tideworks said that its new Data Platform collects, cleanses and standardises data, delivering secure and reliable information for better decision-making. By integrating with Tideworks’ core TOS, the solution ensures data accuracy and boosted productivity.
Unveiled at the 2024 Tideworks Customer Conference, the Data Platform is designed to meet the growing needs of rail and marine terminal operators, with robust features like real-time visibility, secure data governance and user-configurable dashboards.
It also supports third-party integration, allowing seamless digitisation across broader enterprise systems.
Chad Van Derrick, VP of software product management at Tideworks, added: “Data Platform enables our customers to expand their TOS capabilities and integrate with other data sources, acting as the digital backbone of terminal operations.”
The Tideworks Data Platform is already being deployed across key marine and rail terminals in the US, Mexico and Latin America.
