Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. WATCH: Liebherr completes Grangemouth crane raise
Liebherr Container Cranes has completed a major crane raise project at Forth Ports’ Port of Grangemouth, increasing the lift height of two ship-to-shore gantry cranes by 2.2 metres and boosting operational capability at Scotland’s largest container terminal
The port, which handles more than 250,000 teu annually, operates three Liebherr STS cranes — one delivered in 2018 and two delivered in 2006.
