Pakistan project opens to tenders
June sees the opening of the tender process for Pakistans port optimisation project.
The Pakistani authorities are looking at identifying short (up to 2010), medium (2011 – 2015) and long term (2015 – 2030) operational and port infrastructure requirements. This will include creating a project investment program to be set against time frames and orders of priority.
The scope of consultancy services covers projections of future traffic, analysis of present operations, urban and National Trade Corridor development plans, institutional aspects, port land use patterns and constraints etc, as well as hydrography, topography and environmental assessments.
