Swissterminal has announced a major milestone in its growth, as it fully integrates into global logistics leader DP World

Operating for decades as a key player in the Swiss and French logistics markets, Swissterminal manages terminals in the Basel region of Switzerland and the Alsace region of France. These facilities are vital gateways, connecting Switzerland, south Germany and France to major European seaports.

The company’s services include terminal handling, warehousing and an advanced rail and barge transport network.

The partnership with DP World began in 2020 when DP World acquired a 44% stake in Swissterminal, and now, with full integration, Swissterminal says it can offer enhanced end-to-end supply chain solutions.

As part of this transition, Matthias Dischinger will take over as chief executive of Swissterminal, while Roman Mayer remains on the board as a consultant. DP World also plans significant investments in infrastructure and sustainable logistics solutions.
