Portsmouth Twin

In order to demonstrate an achievable modular green hydrogen generation system within a port, IOTICS is generating a digital twin of the UK’s Port of Portsmouth. The £1.5 million project will see the port “twin” inter-operating with existing and developing data from port activities, as well as collating information from a working hydrogen electrolyser. This digital twin approach will generate a scalable model that can be converted for other ecosystems and locations. Portsmouth is targeting becoming the UK’s fi rst carbon neutral port by 2030.
