PACECO GROUP contributes to the expansion and capacity increase to meet the growing demands of the Yilport Gävle (Sweden) and Yilport Liscont (Portugal) Container Terminals

As part of the final expansion phase of the Yilport Gävle terminal, PACECO GROUP (MITSUI E&S Engineering, PACECO Corp. and PACECO MOMENTUM) has recently delivered three highly efficient and environmentally friendly STS Portainer® cranes.

The state-of-the-art cranes, manufactured at MITSUI E&S Engineering’s Oita (Japan) facility, were delivered fully erected to Yilport Gävle Container Terminal (Sweden).

On arrival at the Gävle Terminal, a large technical and service team from PACECO MOMENTUM and MITSUI E&S Engineering took care of the unloading operations of the three cranes, as well as of the electrical connections and commissioning. Finally, the cranes were handed over by MITSUI E&S Engineering with the firm conviction to contribute with their high- quality products and services to increase the competitiveness of the terminal.

On the other hand, last week another four similar PACECO STS Portainer® cranes, which will expand the production capacity of the Yilport Liscont Container Terminal (Portugal), have departed fully erected from the MITSUI E&S Engineering facilities in Oita (Japan), where they have been designed and manufactured under the manufacturer’s usual strict quality and control conditions. The arrival is scheduled for the end of the year and PACECO MOMENTUM’s technical and operations team is now ready to go into action and carry out the same unloading, electrical connections and commissioning works that were carried out for the cranes at the Yilport Gävle terminal.
