Rickmers-Linie renews ISO certification

Germany’s Rickmers-Line, the project and heavy lift liner expert, has successfully undergone the process of recertification according to the latest ISO Standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2009 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

Rickmers-Linie has renewed its ISO certification

The certificates for the integrated quality management system, which encompasse quality, occupational health and safety, as well as the environment, are now once again valid for three years, up until 29 November 2015.

Ulrich Ulrichs, chief operating officer and managing director of Rickmers-Linie, said: “Rickmers-Linie is dedicated to delivering services for its clients to the highest standards. Having achieved the re-certification for our integrated management system, we are going to continue on this path, developing our system further towards a transparent and reproducible process management.”

Rickmers-Linie is still one of the few companies in the breakbulk, heavy lift and projects sector that has adopted an integrated management system according to the aforementioned certification standards.

The company has been certified to the ISO 9001 standard for eleven years. An occupational health management system as per OHSAS 18001, as well as an environment management system which follows the standard of ISO 14001, were added five years ago.
