Santos deemed Brazils second worst port
Santos is the second worst port in Brazil in which to do business, according to a survey undertaken by the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain.
Only Salvador was deemed worse.
Although all ports surveyed polled higher than the initial 2007 survey, Santos had improved slower than other major ports.
Among the main complaints are excessive bureaucracy, lack of capacity, transport costs, release time for cargo and road access.
