UK-based Fathom is encouraging nominations for its newly-launched ‘Ship Efficiency Awards’ before the deadline on 14 July 2015.
The Awards, which were launched last year, recognise excellence in efficient operations, energy efficiency and technological innovation in the shipping industry.
Nominations can be made in the following categories: Energy Efficiency Solution Award, Environmental Technology Award, Sustainable Ship Operator of the Year, Initiative of the Year and The One to Watch.
Nominations can be submitted across multiple categories, provided they adhere to the Award terms and conditions. Shortlisted finalists for each award category will be announced in the week beginning 17 August 2015.
The 2015 awards, hosted by Lloyd’s Register, will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London on 9 September 2015 during Fathom’s annual conference Ship Efficiency: The Event, this year an official part of London International Shipping Week.
