US-based Tideworks Technology Inc is to provide its suite of terminal operating system (TOS) solutions for Sea Star Line, LLC.
The complete turnkey solutions will be implemented under a fully-hosted model at Sea Star’s Jacksonville and San Juan terminals. Delivery includes Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard, Spinnaker Planning Management Systems, Traffic Control and GateVision.
“Sea Star is investing heavily in modernising its operations by investing in our terminal infrastructure with a continued key focus on safety. The application of a commercial terminal operating system under a full-service model will help bring Sea Star’s terminals up to date and poises us well for future growth,” said Tim Nolan, president of Sea Star Line.
The company says the solutions will also help streamline processes and boost customer service levels.

As part of the complete solutions for Sea Star, Tideworks will provide a range of services to ensure a smooth transition process and first-rate support of the systems after implementation. These include a thorough business process analysis and site assessment at each of the terminals, integration services for the exchange of critical data, database administration and regular back-ups.
Tideworks will also be on hand 24/7 for technical support from its service centre in Seattle, USA.
