It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Greenport Congress Oceania will bring together environmental managers from port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines and logistics operators to learn about the latest sustainable developments and environmental practices in the Oceanic region and beyond. New truck movement prediction tool is helping the Port of Valencia better manage its workload
Valenciaport has taken another step on its digitalisation journey with the implementation of smart software to predict truck movements, helping the port better plan its workload.
Developed with Nextport, the AI system uses information such as ship size and route, weather, global festivals and economic information to predict the number of trucks that will pass through the docks.
