Barcelona approves El Prat recuperation budget
Barcelona Port Authority has approved a budget of ¢ 76m ($107.1m) for the repair of El Prat quay, which partially collapsed on January 1.
A total of ¢40m ($56.4m) will be required to mend the damaged quayside, while the remaining ¢36m ($50.7m) is needed to complete outstanding work on the quay.
Having acquired the Mepsa concession on the Inflammables Quay, the company plans to build additional infrastructure in the short term.
